Client details
Musée du Luxembourg is a museum in Paris, France. Situated near the Palais du Luxembourg, it once housed paintings and sculpture from the nineteenth century. Much of this collection was moved to the Musée d'Orsay at its opening in 1986. However, it now features temporary exhibitions according to a program dictated by the French Ministry of Culture and the Senate.
Project details
In 2008, the Luxembourg Museum in Paris opened the greatest exhibition dedicated to Arcimboldo (1526-1593) in twenty years. Arcimboldo is an icon of the surreal artists for his portraits made of vegetables, fruit, or animals. For this exhibition, our client asked us to redesign the whole website in order to promote this major exhibit and sell ticket as well as Arcimboldo's goodies online. This was a short-delay project because of the opening date issue.
Disclaimer
e-maujean.net is not a web design studio but my personal online portfolio. Most of the showcased works were created while working under my past and present full-time employers, who solely own the rights to these materials. Moreover, most of these projects were run in a team effort, with the help of many smart people. That means I’m definetely not the only one to congrat for the good work.
